Durant will certainly help Houston out of the half court muck, but with all of the centers they signed and resigned, he may also allow them to lean even more into Board Ball, with double big lineups designed to grab all the rebounds.

I think Lonzo Ball replacing Ty Jerome doesn’t auger a stylistic change of playing style so much as it signals that the Cavs are entirely focused on playoff basketball at this point. There is some irony in the Bulls trading away two premier “16 game players” in Caruso and Ball for two 82 game players in Giddey and Okoro.

Always a pleasure to read about Tyus Jones and see him get some love, I know that replacing Bane over KCP is more significant than Tyus over Corey Joseph, but for some reason, it feels surprisingly close.

Great read!
