Heck yeah, and I'm excited to see Miller finally get some playing time, too. They don't all have to be 22-point outings, but a few quality minutes here and there starts to establish the proof of concept to earn Lue's trust!
Aside from Queen and Fears, the excerpt on Peavy was phenomenal and highly appreciated by me.
He’s been a point-of-attack brick wall, which as you mentioned, carves him out a roster spot — so if he can find a way to be even a neutral on offense… there are minutes for him.
I think the Sabonis comparison is a pretty accurate one for someone whose game is as striking as Queen’s.
Was thinking about it the other day and would love to hear your thoughts — who has a higher ceiling between Fears and Queen? Both are limited in some capacity by their physicals, but are displaying some super encouraging efforts in their weaknesses.
Hmm. I think it’s possible that Queen ends up the better player, but Fears is easier to fit onto a contending team. Both guys will need help defensively, but it’s easier to make up for a poor defender at guard (and Fears might end up being fine just through the sheer number of steals he can generate!).
Queen is just such an odd collection of size and skill, it’s hard for me to project forward. But I’m enjoying his play right now!
