Hello, everyone! We did it!

I have an announcement to make: For at least the next couple weeks, my articles will be published on HoopsHabit.com, a basketball blog that’s part of a broader blogging network called FanSided. Writing there allows me to reach a much broader audience and build up a portfolio on an established platform. It also allows me access to resources I never could’ve had from this simple newsletter. My first article went live yesterday, here it is below:

I’m still working out what this means for Basketball Poetry. I’m planning on continuing the site, and I will link my work I do on HoopsHabit to here so you can keep getting the links in your inbox for easy consumption (I’m prohibited from reproducing it, unfortunately, so I can only send the link). I may end up finding some sort of balance between writing there and writing here, but it’s all still in flux.

I wanted to let you know that this wouldn’t have been possible with out all of your support! Having so many people sign up for this newsletter and send me such kind words and feedback gave me the encouragement I needed to apply for this new opportunity. And for those of you who are paying subscribers, I’ll figure out some way to show my immense gratitude (and I still owe founding members a story of their choosing!).

In short, I’ll keep linking to my work at HoopsHabit, and I will likely still be posting unique articles here at some point. I don’t know what the future holds for Basketball Poetry, but this is just the beginning, and I hope you stick with me for the rest of the ride. Thank you all!
