Something I think of often when seeing how Tim Connelly has chosen to construct these Twolves teams is that there is a potential for outsized value in all of these players against the consensus. Gobert, Randle, Ball, Kuminga, even Bones. They all had (and maybe still have) narratives that depress their value, and part of the player acquisition strategy is beat those perceptions.

And I think you're totally on to something there. He loves the redemption story, for sure, and he's shown he's willing to pay a premium to get the guys he believes in. Ball and Kuminga will be his most interesting test cases yet!
It's the recurring theme that has grappled me with this Wolves' revolution and one that you've prominently highlighted, Mike. Ultimately, this is a ball-club that has gambled away its known floor for an enticing ceiling; one expects this team will go as far as Kuminga and Ball are willingly - and engagingly - able to take them.
Yep! I think basketball floors are underrated, personally -- how many teams take wild swings that they are convinced are ceiling-raisers when the odds of them working out are, like, 3%? But in this case, I think the moves were justified (certainly Kuminga at least is a no-harm flyer at that price).
