Great article... my comment on it is, it's about time the Hawks figure out that, if they want to upgrade at center, their answer is not currently on this roster. Okongwu is a solid enough player, but he's had plenty of time and opportunity to show whether or not he's the long-term answer. (He isn't.)
Yeah, I've always been a smidge higher on Capela and lower on Okongwu than consensus. They're working now, but I totally agree they're going to need an upgrade sooner than later.
Who knows? If hte Lakers keep falling, maybe that pick could land them someone juicy in this draft...
I've liked Capela since his days with the Rockets... unfortunately, while still pretty good at what he does, he's on the downside of his career at this point. Okongwu's always gotten hype for his "potential" but at this point we know what he is, and that's a solid backup who'd be a mediocre starter.
